Here's to the Next 100

Dear valued Member,

Another great Masters weekend is in the books. It never ceases to amaze me the beauty of that course and the excitement of the tournament. Now many of you are gearing up for another exciting event – a busy golf season. This year also marks the 100^th summer that PGA professionals have opened up their golf shops and taught patrons the right way to enjoy this great game. Much like the PGA of America did at this year's Merchandise Show, I wanted to write a letter to thank all of you card-carrying members that we also call VGM Club members. My longtime business partner, Kent Dierks, and I traveled the United States in VGM Club's infancy trying to make ends meet with our company. We owe our early success to all of the PGA pros that opened their doors & their minds to our business model. PGA Professionals are the backbone of the golf industry. Teachers, mentors, entrepreneurs, role models are just a few titles to be used for this great group of men and women.  At VGM Club, we have two other names we call them – valued customers & friends. We would also like to thank the organization itself, the PGA of America, for what you have done over those 100 years to grow the game. Even through the recent turbulent economic years, golf is good and looking to get even better. We are honored to be associated with so many PGA professionals and are excited to continue to grow with you into the future.
