Maximizing Your Membership in 2017

Many of our members were asked to take an end of the year survey this past January . This survey was designed to help us better understand our members and shape our services moving into 2017. We were able to find some interesting trends after breaking down the survey results. We found 3 key areas to maximize your VGM Club membership using this information.

1. Capital Equipment Purchases

Utilizing leveraged buying power from our +3500 clubs, we are able to provide RFQ's through our service platform to lower your purchasing costs; saving you time and money.

Many of our clubs have capital expenditures coming up in 2017. In fact, of the clubs surveyed: How can your VGM Club team help you save money on these expenditures?

"A large portion of my day consists of fielding calls, emails and requests from members in my territory to quote everything from smaller miscellaneous items to entire clubhouse remodels." says Courtney Donohue, Member Service Representative. "We aim to take the grunt work out of 'shopping around' for our members. There isn't a down season for the majority of my members in Florida, so any way that I can save members money and time is huge." Says Mickie Evans, Member Service Representative. Not only does reaching out to your Member Service rep save you time, but we have also found it adds to saving and rebate totals as well.

VGM Clubs that reached out to their Member Service Representative for quotes have received almost 20% more in savings and rebates over the last 2 years.

2. Invoice Analysis Programs

We specialize in analyzing volume reports and contract driven invoices in order to see if there is a cost savings with our portfolio of supplier partners.

A consistent source of success in analyzing reports and contract invoices comes from linen services. VGM Club has the ability to look at your invoices and compare with VGM Club partners to achieve better pricing, contract terms, and more. "I am frequently asked to conduct a linen analysis for clubs in my area. Alsco is a strong supplier in my territory, and I find that there are very few cases where another program beats the VGM Club - Alsco program. Regardless of whether the club ultimately decides to switch to our program - we encourage our members to send us invoices to be sure they are receiving the best possible pricing and terms available to them." Amy Linder, Member Service Representative. What can your Member Service Team conduct an invoice analysis on? Contact them to find out!

3. Immediate Alignment Programs

Begin recognizing a cost savings on multiple supplier partners simply by adding your vendor account number.

Another way to increase your savings and rebate totals is to keep your myVGMClub dashboard up to date with your latest vendor account numbers. Members see savings and rebates grow exponentially as they continue to add more account numbers to their myVGMClub dashboard. Glancing at the graph, you see the percentage increase (incrementally and in total) of both savings and rebates. The takeaway? Your savings and rebate totals increase as your program usage does. It adds up quickly! Do you need to add all of your account numbers? Head there now to make sure! Is there a supplier you want more information on? Contact your VGM Club representative.
