1994
Van G. Miller helped two aspiring businessmen and friends, D.Jay Ellis and Kent Dierks, launch a business called VGM Golf. The company focused on providing golf courses and country clubs discounted purchasing opportunities.
2001
Thousands of clubs and courses became members.
This growth triggered VGM Golf to rename to VGM Club,
reflecting the addition of agronomy, clubhouse, and food
& beverage programs, including a partnership with a
company called Foodbuy.
2019
The Foodbuy and VGM Club partnership blossoms so much
so that Compass Group/Foodbuy USA, the global leader
in contract foodservice, acquirs VGM Club. The merger subsequently led to the emergence of the name
ClubProcure by Foodbuy.
2025
Together, ClubProcure and Foodbuy hit $35 billion in annual managed spend, providing industry-leading leverage with suppliers. Now boasting programs across food and beverage, services, equipment, and supplies, ClubProcure connects over 5,000 courses and clubs with procurement solutions.
Through all the growth, name changes, and advancements, ClubProcure’s core objective has stayed the same:
